FAQs
Common Questions About Compressor Servicing
How often should an air compressor be serviced?
Most rotary screw compressors should be serviced every 2,000 running hours or every 12 months, whichever comes first. High-duty or older equipment may need 6-monthly visits. We assess your specific situation and recommend the optimum schedule.
Do you work on all makes and models of compressor?
Yes. As an independent specialist, our engineers are trained across multiple compressor types and manufacturers. We carry a wide range of spare parts and can source specialist components quickly.
What is a Written Scheme of Examination (WSE)?
A WSE is a legally required document under the Pressure Systems Safety Regulations 2000 (PSSR). It specifies how and when your pressure vessels (receivers, dryers) must be inspected. We write, manage and certify these schemes for our contract customers.
Can you take over maintenance from another provider?
Absolutely. We carry out a full condition survey and produce a detailed report before taking on any new contract. This protects you and ensures we have a clear baseline for future maintenance.
What areas do you cover for emergency call-outs?
We cover Kent, Surrey, Sussex, Hampshire, Berkshire and Greater London. Our target response time for 24/7 emergencies is within 4 hours — most South East locations are reached considerably faster.
